YETI was registered in 1989, founded by Radosław Krawczyk, Ladyslaw Piasecki and Elżbieta Seler. YETI is one of the largest manufacturers of down apparel, equipment and accessories in Poland. It was pivotal in introducing brands like Karrimor and AKU to the Polish market and it developed products for, amongst others, Ajungilak, Mammut, Blacks, and Ferrino. YETI is also the exclusive Polish distributor of Native Planet (backpacks and travel accessories), McNett (gear repair and travel accessories), and Ever Light (flashlights, compasses, altimeters). The company is highly respected amongst world-renowned climbers, mountain rescue teams, explorers and travellers alike. YETI has cooperated and supplied with products the Polish Army (including elite army units). It is also a supplier to many business customers including many well-known brands. Trademarks of YETI products sold outside of Poland include Warmth Unlimited and YET. Our biggest markets are France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and South Korea. YETI support a number of unique and original outdoor initiatives. The company is a regular sponsor of the Bartek Olszanski Memorial, and a silver sponsor of Krakow Mountain Festival. YETI has supported many expeditions to the highest mountains in the world. Amongst others, a recent women's expedition to Mount Kilimanjaro and the Inarijarvi Expedition 2010 - a dog sled expedition around the huge Lake Inari in Arctic Finland. |
