This jacket comprises 20 down filled box-wall compartments built using 30 mm baffle tapes, for thick insulation and minimal cold spots.
- A shorter, lightweight jacket, that compresses down to the size of a medium size bottle.
- The short cut of the jacket makes it easy to use when in a climb harness.
- The shell hood isn’t insulated but is wind-proof and water resistant and easily stuffs into a collar compartment.
- The right hand pocket inverts to become a stuff sac for storing the jacket inside.

Yeti clothing and accessories may further be described as follows:
- Outer covering made of Q15 or Micro Dry fabric (Dry version;)
- Full box wall construction eliminates any cold seams typical to occur in traditional constructions (especially around seams that connect sleeves and collars with the chest).
- The jackets are fitted with two insulated outer pockets and one small inner pocket.
- The jackets and vests are fitted with drawstring waistbands providing insulation from cold.
- Double zippers are of the highest quality (manufactured by YKK); provided with inner and outer trimmings that guarantee extra insulation.
- Will fit into a small bag.
